Pantages Hotel is close to Toronto’s most iconic and longest-running theatres. Catch a live comedy show, see a stunning musical or get swept away in an unparalleled dramatic performance. We’ve rounded up some of the best theatres & performances you won’t want to miss for Fall/Winter 2023.

1. The Ed Mirvish Theatre & Production Company

Ed Mirvish Productions is Canada’s largest theatre company – and with good reason! In 1963, iconic Torontonian Ed Mirvish changed the future of theatre in Toronto forever by purchasing and restoring the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre. From there, he went to work hosting productions from around the world and slowly transforming the surrounding neighbourhood into a hub for arts and culture.

Today, his family’s production company continues his legacy, hosting performances at the Ed Mirvish Theatre, the Royal Alexandra Theatre, the Princess of Wales Theatre, and the CAA Theatre.

Whether you’re looking for a dramatic performance like Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, a musical performance like Jagged Little Pill: The Musical, or want to be amazed and awed by award-winning illusionists, Ed Mirvish Productions has it all.

The best part? All four of these theatres are within walking distance from your hotel room at Pantages!
