While Toronto certainly has tonnes of outdoor events and festivals during the winter, we get that not everybody loves the cold! That’s why we’ve put together a list of ways to see the best Toronto has to offer – all while staying nice and cozy.

One option is to get yourself a CityPASS! The CityPASS gives you access to the CN Tower, plus four other attractions during the winter: Casa Loma, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Toronto Zoo, and the Ontario Science Centre.

The Art Gallery of Ontario is another world-class experience and is suitable for the whole family. From fine art to interactive, playful exhibits, there’s always something going on at the AGO, and it’s easy to spend an entire day there engaging with all kinds of different installations.

Another great way to spend a chilly day is to visit Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. As one of Canada’s largest aquariums, they have ten different galleries with thousands of species from around the world.

Gallery themes include Canadian Waters, Shipwrecks, Planet Jellies, and many more. They also host events like paint nights, aquariums after dark, and even aquarium sleepovers. Get a sneak peek ahead of time by checking out their live webcams!

When you’re ready to grab dinner for the day, we highly recommend making a reservation at Antler Kitchen & Bar. This unique dining experience features wild and foraged local faire, on top of more traditional dishes that you know and love. Some of the most beloved dishes are their Mushroom Catarecce with wild Ontario mushrooms and black truffle, and the Pan Roasted Venison Back Chop with roasted carrots, parsnips, and a wild haskap berry jus.

For a more family-friendly dining experience any time of day, don’t skip out on Fran’s Diner. A Toronto favourite, you’ll love their expansive menu and delicious offerings. From delicious eggs benedicts to homemade burgers, it’s sure to have something for everyone. It’s a short walk from Pantages Hotel, and comes highly recommended by other guests and locals alike.

No matter how you want to explore Toronto, Pantages Hotel has a package to fit your needs and budget. Click here to view our available offers – we look forward to hosting you soon!
